In 2026, we set an ambitious goal: to bring a community orchard within walking distance of 1 million people.
Now, we’ve reached 1 million people.
That means greater access to fresh, healthy food, green spaces and community — right where people live — made possible by the orchard stewards and neighbors who keep showing up.
And this is just the beginning.

What started with a few trees and a shared idea has grown into a national network of orchards and food forests, expanding access to healthy food and community year after year.
