About Dr. Nadina Galle
Dr. Nadina Galle
Nadina Galle is an ecological engineer, author, and National Geographic Explorer whose work bridges ecology and technology to build greener, healthier cities. She pioneered the concept of the “Internet of Nature” (IoN)—a global movement using technology to reconnect people with nature and create resilient, thriving communities in the face of climate change.
Through her award-winning research, global product launches, and her popular Internet of Nature podcast, Nadina has highlighted innovators and communities shaping the future of urban sustainability. Her debut book, The Nature of Our Cities, became an international bestseller and has been featured by Bloomberg, NPR, CNBC, and National Geographic.
Recognized as a Fulbright Scholar at MIT’s Senseable City Lab, a Forbes “30 Under 30” honoree, and a recipient of the European Space Agency’s “Space Oscar,” Nadina brings a rare ability to translate complex science into inspiring stories. Her mission is clear: to inspire cities where technology serves as a bridge to reconnect people with the natural world.
